Food Drive

  • Message from Dr. Burgess:

The food drive was a great success.  The Ballard Food Bank was very appreciative for the large amount that was collected by Service for Peace.  I’m not certain but I estimated that it might be close to 1000 lbs. 

  • Thanks again to all the volunteers. 

The Food  Bank was so inspired they asked if they could leave a barrel in the Church that we could help fill for Christmas.  We will not be organizing another day of collection in the community but I would like to encourage everyone to bring some cans or boxes of food to contribute this Sunday 12/14 and the following Sunday 12/21.  We would like to fill up the barrel and help make someone else’s Christmas a little brighter.
